FALL FASHION TRANSFORMER: Five Easy Pieces to Jazz your Winter Wardrobe by Kim Coston

FALL FASHION TRANSFORMER:
Five Easy Pieces to Jazz your Winter Wardrobe

Z’Scoop’s pre-winter fashion edit offers an inspired list of five of the latest femme fatale must-haves. Standout items culled from the Autumn/Winter 17-18 trends into one short hit-list by Z’Scoop’s savvy fashion oracle team, will give you the guaranteed chic factor, without breaking the bank.

We’ve scaled it down to the best, easiest and most fabulous additions that will give you the flexibility to transform from street-style chic to evening sensation.

1 – Walk on the Wild Side
An established trend, colorful faux fur or leather outerwear not only lends instant glam and ratchets up your chic cred, but also will make you feel exponentially better about protecting our little furry friends.

And at these prices … hello! You can reinvest your dividends into accessories!

Miu Miu, DVF, Alice & Olivia and Stella McCartney have gorgeous faux fur. But Zara’s fabulous double-breasted 3/4 length classic fur-mimicking coat in “Bluish” makes any casual outfit look like a million bucks.

And Target’s Bagatelle faux leather draped jacket with a textured shawl collar and some sexy jeans will take you anywhere in style.

2 – Big Game Hunting
A specific but different extension of the faux-fur trend and an extension of 2016, animal prints are huge again this season with some great options to choose from. Leopard-printed and faux fur leopard coats win the prize for cool hunting.

Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, have some amazing versions. But if your budget is tight, J. Crew, Anthropologie and H&M have some exceptional leopard look coats, for $300 and under.

A great way to show off new tall boots, Versace Vintage’s flared leopard print skirt is a stunner. But then again, so is Zara’s at a far lower price point.

3 – Oversized Sweaters
Hitting its 3rd season or so now, chunky sweaters pair beautifully with midi or short skirts. Lanvin, Milly, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs all have them, as do Anthropologie and Zara’s.

4 – These Boots Are Made For Walk’n
Saint Laurent, Stuart Weitzman, and DVF all have chunky heeled over-the-knee boots. Get the same Wow effect with Black Cayla over-the-knee boots with block heels from Target that will literally run out of stores soon. Primark and Zara even have red ones.

5 – Top It Off
Making attitude adjustments with flair+ this season, the Brits call them “baker boy” hats; aka newsboy caps, engineer or nautical hats.

Hot haute accessories are from Miu Miu to Dior. Check out Anthropologie, Zara and H&M for equally fab but more affordable versions.

Although you may have a limited fashion budget, build your wardrobe with items like these and you’ll corner the A/W 2017 chic factor.
