Z’Scoop’s Focus On Beauty Inside Out: HOLISTIC ORGANIC PLANT-BASED SKIN CARE by Kim Coston

Z’Scoop’s Focus On Beauty Inside Out:

Connecting the dots between beauty, nutrition and wellness with an innovative new integrated and customized approach, here comes skin-care line “Planted in Beauty” and website “Well Within.”

“Well Within … embraces a holistic approach to beauty and wellness,” says Lynne Florio. “The products you put on your skin, nutrition and lifestyle choices are integrated into your skin health and overall well-being.”

Cofounders Florio and Renee Tavoularis should know. They were formerly luxe skin care line La Prairie’s former president and VP of e-commerce-digital marketing, respectively. Both are well grounded in high performance skincare.

This month, the Planted in Beauty line will launch with 7 serums, cleansers and creams with sophisticated organic phyto or plant-based ingredients, including a Firm +Smooth + Brighten Reparative Complex, Depuff & Illuminate Eye Firming Complex and Nourish & Protect Antioxidant Moisturizer. Prices range from $65-200. A travel-starter set has all 7 products for $30.

Well Within’s unique website has health coaching through a network of certified professionals. Founders liken it to a personal trainer or personal mentor to help guide healthiest diet and lifestyle choices, and target specific customer skin care needs.

Even more unusual is the website’s food content created with a team of gastronomic collaborators: certified chefs, Tavoularis — a certified nutrition health coach — and Florio. A precursor to introducing edibles, about 60 recipes were exclusively created for Well Within, including “veganizing” certain classics.

The brand’s first edible nutritional supplement should be launched this year. And plans to extend the brand’s beauty + nutrition footprint further are in place.

“We’ll be developing more food products, as well,” said Tavoularis, “with body, hair and eventually makeup products still in the think tank.”

Z’SCOOP encourages you to explore what author Jolene Hart (“Eat Pretty, Nutrition for Beauty Inside and Out”) calls “the direct link to health, weight management and total radiance. Food can pamper your body… and become your greatest support.”

So this Spring, try a new beauty mantra: eat pretty to be pretty!
